About Us
Mapletree Audio Design has for over 20 years offered a unique range of audio products designed and hand crafted by Dr. Lloyd Peppard (founder) and more recently by Dr. Al Freundorfer, both are electrical engineering professors. Al is currently operating the business and should be contacted for information about any Mapletree product. The goal remains to foster the enjoyment of recorded music through the use of vacuum tube amplification and signal processing, offered at a reasonable price.
Lloyd's eyes have failed him and is no longer doing builds. Al is still currently working as professor at Queen's University, Kingston.
